This church in Cabatuan, when originally built between 1833 and 1866, was reputed to be the largest church building in all of Panay Island. Because construction materials were so hard to come by in the area Friar Ramón Alquezar had a kiln built and fired his own bricks which were used in the contruction of this massive church with 6 bell towers.
