Yes, we have just now added the a new slideshow for the only militaristic church in the Philippines – the Church of San Joaquin which has hardly any religious icons on the exterior of the church. The full facade is given over to a rendering of the Battle of Tetouan in Morocco in which the Spanish forces defeated to Moorish Armies in 1861.

This is one really beautiful old and historically significant church which was made a Philippines National Treasure by then President Ferdinand Marcos in 1973.
